Our retractable badge reels are a popular alternative to lanyards from which to secure identity tags.
They have a metal belt clip on the back and on the end of the cord they typically have a PVC badge clip to attach to a badge holder or ID card. The wearer can then pull the card and the reel feeds out the cord, allowing the wearer to swipe their card through scanners or other security devices.
