This plain (unprinted) lanyard comes with a single safety breakaway and two swivel trigger hooks.

The open ended style clips into a hole/slot on each corner of a badge holder.  The main purpose is to minimize the ID flipping around, therefore keeping it forward facing at all times.  This is especially useful in keeping ID visible, however, in addition, event organizers then have the option to print information, e.g. schedules on the back side of a pass.
